Savills announced as new sponsor of Great Eastern Run

SAVILLS ANNOUNCED AS LATEST SPONSOR OF GREAT EASTERN RUN

Savills have been announced as the latest company that is a key sponsor of the Great Eastern Run which will take place in the City on 16 October.

The run’s half marathon and 5km route will pass by the Savills offices, based on St Johns Street in Peterborough

Over 5,000 runners are expected to participate in the race which is being staged for the first time since 2018.  The route, which starts and finishes at the embankment, takes runners to the north of the City and Werrington. The course is the second flattest in the country and on closed roads, making it attractive to runners hoping for a fast time.

There is still time to enter the race and start training.  

William Rose, head of commercial at Savills Peterborough, comments: “Its’ fantastic that the Great Eastern Run is back after a four year hiatus. As an office we are very pleased to be supporting the event as one of its sponsors and look forward to cheering for everyone on the day from the Savills water station. Best of luck to all those taking part.”
